today was BC day. went to the sci faculty of NTU. 1st part de prof brought us around the faculty la. but can only bring till lvl 2 security ( need card enter ) he say got one laser microscope on that time muz on air con full blast becoz lasers generate a lot heat. wow i'll be having frostbite b4 can even use lol. then got one part they put liquids to dry-freeze them at some very low degree. negative degree celcius. then he say when u have cut there u wont feel it u will only feel it when u wash ur hands! and we oso saw the nucleus of our cheek cells through the microscope. turns out cells need to be stained 1st... forgot wad kind of dye but got two kinds of dye is to stain dead and live cells respectively. then we had "lecture" whereby bio sth sth , maths sth sth , chem sth sth and phy sth sth prof come in tell us about the courses offered . omg the maths 1. wad complexity and algarithm de. but got one qn me and frens did right (: lol. after that it was around noon and we went to jurong point. eat then go watch "Pursuit of Happiness". it's quite lame but some jokes are funny.
once, a man was going to drown. a large ship went past and say " do u wan to board?" the man said "no, god will save me" then another large ship went by and ask the same thing and got the same reply. then the man drowned. when he reached heaven, he asked god " why didnt u save me?" god replied " i sent two large ships to save u" =_=lll
and another: dad "knock knock who's there. " son " she'll......... she'll be comign round the mountain when she comes" haha funny right.
and still got one not a joke but the father keep complaining to childcare centre to erase the vadalism on the wall that says "fuck" and oso ask the sweeper to erase the y and replace with i in the word "happyness" :P
got back results. topped chem with 73. UNBELIEVABLE A2 top le? diao. the rest oso did quite ok. except that freaking COMBINED HUMANITIES. 41 E8
!@#$#^%&* but oh well compared to others, failing one subject is like quite gd already. coz many ppl fail more than 1 subject. (X
